The Looong Games by Ken McCormick
The Looong Game Classic was played in Brooklyn just outside of Windsor
Nova Scotia January 9th & 10th 2009. It was a marathon hockey game that
lasted 24 hours that had great community spirit and support. The
Dartmouth Rotary Club was instrumental in the success of the event with
its membership involvement as well as finical support!

marathon and Don Penwell lined up all the club members to sell tickets
collect food donations for Feed Nova Scotia at the door. A total team
effort from the club.

charities and sponsors were invited. This session helped answer
questions and build up some hype and energy for The Looong Game Classic,
the following charities were supported:

-$7,500 Dartmouth East Community Centre/Boys & Girls Club with The
Dartmouth Rotary Club champing this donation
