The Rotary Club of Dartmouth is officially kicking off its 2026 Spring Classic Staycation draw, inviting both longtime supporters and newcomers to participate in one of the community's most anticipated annual fundraisers.
DARTMOUTH, NS – The Rotary Club of Dartmouth is officially kicking off its 2026 Spring Classic Staycation draw, inviting both longtime supporters and newcomers to participate in one of the community's most anticipated annual fundraisers. If you’ve been itching for a getaway but want to keep your travel miles low and your community impact high, the Rotary Club of Dartmouth has some good news. The club just pulled the curtain back on its 2026 Spring Classic Staycation draw, and the prize pool is bigger than ever.
This year’s draw will feature 12 separate vacation packages at some of the most scenic resorts, cozy inns, and hidden-gem B&Bs across the Maritimes. In total, the club is giving away more than $14,000 in local travel experiences.
Community Support & Local Tourism
The 2026 Staycation draw will offer participants who win a draw the opportunity to explore some of the Maritimes' best destinations. Dartmouth Rotary uses the funds raised from the draw to support local health, education, and community development services and to do valuable international work for those less fortunate than many of us are.
Details Of How Our Funds from Ticket Sales & Golf Tournament Are Used:
- Children’s breakfast program in North Dartmouth.
- Sponsor a student ambassador to experience the Ottawa Government for a week.
- Sponsor a Dartmouth student on a year-long exchange program to another country.
- Once a month, we purchase and serve dinners at Metro Turning Point.
- We support Shelter Box (kits that are ready to be shipped to areas of the world hit by natural disasters).
- Dartmouth General Hospital's various Capital Campaigns
- Student University Scholarships
- Partnering with cacha.ca on projects in Tanzania
-We are proud that none of our funds raised are used for administration
