On Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, our Club hosted our annual fundraising golf tournament at Osprey Ridge Golf Club in Bridgewater , NS. It was a beautiful fall day and although the number of golfers was lower than in previous years, a good time was had by all.
On Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, our Club hosted our annual fundraising golf tournament at Osprey Ridge Golf Club in Bridgewater, NS. It was a beautiful fall day, and although the number of golfers was lower than previous
years, a good time was had by all.
One of the popular features of the tournament was the 50/50 -Par 3 Poker game where players could purchase a player’s card at the outset of the game and collect a five-card hand at the par 3’s as they played their round of golf.
To add a little more fun to the day, a “cheat sheet” was also available for purchase to help the teams possibly improve their scores. Such things as tossing your ball out of a bunker, each player allowed 1 mulligan during the round, one time moving your ball closer to the hole by the length of the flag stick, and making your highest score on a hole into a par were the perks.
There was a much-appreciated “hole-in-one” sponsorship from Oregon’s Automotive Group.

Following the game, the Club members prepared and served a steak dinner during which there was a Live Auction as well as a Silent Auction for folks to bid for their favourite item(s).
As The Rotary Club of Dartmouth has been a long-time supporter of the Boys and Girls Club, a significant portion of the proceeds of this tournament will go to them again this year. Members of the B&G Club were in attendance at the tournament to help out, and we thank them for their participation.
